The mission of Helpful Hands 4U is to provide compassionate guidance and support for older adults and their families as they navigate their way through important life transitions, such as downsizing and moving.  Our Senior Move Management services provide expertise in resources and approaches that save money, reduce stress and produce quality results.

Our Story

Diane Hughes established Helpful Hands 4U in April 1998.  She first began helping people manage their homes by providing residential cleaning services.  After seven years, she evolved into the organizing industry.  With her years of professional and personal experience, Diane has found her niche as a Senior Move Manager.

Helpful Hands 4U is a member of The National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM).  NASMM is the leading membership organization for Senior Move Managers in the United States, Canada, and abroad.  NASMM is recognized for its innovative programs and expertise related to Senior Move Management, transition and relocation issues affecting older adults.  All NASMM members adhere to the NASMM Code of Ethics and are supported by the NASMM Ethics Compliance Commission.

Diane enjoys living in the Madison area. She is married to Tim and they have two grown children.  Diane relishes time spent with her family & friends, yoga, long walks, reading and crocheting. She also spends her free time volunteering in her church and community.
